my role at FLA was the production of early planning and design concepts. The concepts were developed up by others and in some cases taken through to construction. The period was shortly after the GFC … a period of tight budgets and a reluctance to build. With the exception of Quota Park, all other public parks were part of public domain works for privately developed residential estates.
